Use AI at the messy edges

Operational teams spend large amounts of time turning emails, PDFs, meeting notes, photos, and spreadsheets into structured work. Extraction, classification, comparison, and drafting can reduce that burden when outputs remain reviewable.

The system should make uncertainty visible. A low-confidence field, a missing date, or a conflict between sources is useful information, not an error to smooth over.

Keep authority with the operating team

Automation should prepare decisions, not quietly become the decision-maker. Approval gates, source links, change history, and clear ownership are part of the feature—not governance added after launch.

Measure removed friction

The right evaluation is practical: fewer manual reconciliations, shorter review loops, less duplicate entry, and clearer exception handling. Those measures reveal whether AI improved the work or merely made the interface more impressive.
